Consolidation Echoes of Innovation: Unlocking the M16 Series Legacy [Wealth Upgrade, Tha Hiracûkimit ]

7th Standard Month, Primeday, 09:04 AM

“Perfect,”
Kael said with a measured breath, the tension in his posture easing.
“This alone might be sufficient grounds for an appeal.”
He shifted his focus to the man seated beside the young analyst.
“Now, what about the key safeguards in our actual mining process?”
The man nodded and began,
“We’re importing Correllian Advanced Monitoring Systems, Model MK-5.
These are equipped with droid subroutines capable of tracking ecological metrics in real time,
enabling proactive responses to environmental anomalies.
Additionally,
the system supports advanced containment protocols for aquatic ecosystem preservation droids can seal microfractures,
stabilize seabed terrain, and contain potential leaks within hours, not days.”

Kael followed the data on his holo display, nodding.
“What’s the kolto yield to impact ratio compared to legacy methods?”
“We’ve achieved a sub 5% ecological impact rate compared to older methods like the DFJHY-23 series,
while delivering a net environmental benefit of approximately 17% due to reduced disruption and cleaner extraction.”
Kael narrowed his eyes.
“So we’re deliberately harvesting less to protect the ecosystem long term, correct?”
“Yes, sir,”
the analyst affirmed confidently.
“Our methodology prioritizes sustainability without compromising strategic viability.”

“Good,”
Kael replied.
“Make sure those points are ready to present in court visually and verbally.”

Kael leaned forward slightly, his tone measured yet urgent.
“What about the agreement terms? Where do we stand?”
An associate, seated across the table,
nodded and brought up the relevant documentation on the holodisplay.
“We’ve incorporated perpetual royalty rights for the Selkath government 3% of gross sales
and an additional 18% of net income.
This structure ensures that, financially,
the Selkath receive comparable or greater revenue than if they had managed extraction independently,
without the operational burden.”
Kael's brow furrowed as he tapped his fingers against the conference table.
“How is that sustainable from our side?
Aren’t we essentially transferring the bulk of the profit margin?”

The associate hesitated before replying,
“It’s tight. But if our projected efficiency gains hold true,
our returns will remain competitive though still below what the government collects.
The trade-off is strategic control and long-term positioning.”

Kael didn’t respond immediately.
He reviewed the holotable,
eyes scanning line after line of economic projections and contractual terms.
“This could be a vulnerability.
Aphotic might frame this as a power play
that our sole purpose is to control the kolto supply chain,
under the guise of generosity.”

He exhaled, firming his tone.
“By 11:00,
I need a more defensible rationale for this structure.
If you require an external consultant,
inform me after the meeting.
I’ll coordinate with Linda to secure an expert witness.”

“Understood, sir.”
