Unlike the younger commanders in the 9th Fleet, General of the Army, Svetlana Nikolaievna Zavidova has lived a storied career. Promoted young due to her aptitude for command, and the attrition sustained by the army in Kopperia's ongoing wars on distant worlds.
When offered the chance to lead her 21st Army Group on this expedition, she took the opportunity to operate under more peaceful conditions than she had for the past few decades.
