Consolidation Litanies of the Dark Side: Souls of the Damned [DC Dagobah Hex Defence Upgrade]

@Anatoli Sidorov
Karia tilted her head. It appeared to her that the upstart, in her eye at least, was not one to cower out of a difficult assignment. Alas, whether that was true or mere claims, she knew it would soon be tested. With the hostilities in Minos Sector reaching a climax, the need for war supplies had only further spiked, and the convoys of the Aphotic Industries were no longer able to approach without engaging.

But Karia was not a warlord... She was a businesswoman. If she could have others fight her war, she saw no reason not to. Anatoli Sidorov and his... Fleet, was a fine proxy, given the skyrocketing profits the Aphotic would generate by the time the war ended. What she had to ensure now was who would come out on top...

"Payment will be due in Galactic Credits." Karia replied.

She turned to pick a datapad from the office and offer it to Anatoli with a simple, calculated gesture.

"Sign here. I will then inform the hangar control to see your ships tugged to the loading bays."

Once I signed the contract I was escorted once again to my "captain's boat" and I sailed to Diamond Knot where I waited for a tug to assist me to the loading bay. Once the ship was secured to the berth I went to bring Cape Frio so both ships would be loaded simultaneously to save time.

I inspected the whole loading procedure to ensure the safety of the cargo inside the cargo holds and I personally secured them to the holds and once the ship was loaded I secured the hatches and sailed to HMS Queen Victoria to remotely control both ships and bring them to formation before sailing from anchorage to join the main travel route towards our first jump to Phu and from there to Giju to join the Rimma trade route.

The whole trip should take 3 days to go and 3 more to come back. Given though that we would do stops on our way home to snatch some other cargo shipments it would definently take more.

With the ships on their respective spots, having taken clearance from the respective approach controller I initiated the hyperspace jump towards Phu where we might actually land in the planet's atmosphere to take some supplies since I had food for a day or two yet.

After all was set, I went downstairs and resumed playing on the grand piano a song from old times praising the real ship from which mine were based of.
"A shadow moves across the water in pursuit..."

The conflict was narrow, deadly and fast-paced. The powers invested in it far exceeding the comperhension of those who partook in the mortal battle. In a single moment, the time warped and twisted. Though eyes stared in horror the blades clashing and the blaster fire pouring down on the Marauder troops, the Black Tendrils stretching from the very heart of Tarraba Prime yet refused to give in, moving the forces deployed like pawns on a game board. The crimson tendrils of the Sith Adepts possessing the Marauder horde, demanding action in form of slave-deed and sacrificial suicide for the tinniest gain.

Hazdrabal's blades were brought forth, deflecting the light coming from the blaster fire ahead like a shield to an army of wicked slaves. The she-warrior's power armour giving in, flame tongues escaping the jetpack that was crashing against the deck, oppressed by the will of the adepts, conjured in a mighty Force Crush. The Black Tendrils already abandoning the doomed she-warrior, jumping beyond time to the other who had made it past the Sith ranks, the lightning emitted from her already burning one of the vanguard Marauders with the wrath of untold curses and mourned souls lost in a river of blood.

The blade of the other she-warrior guided through the block of the Sith, carving a highway of Death through the Heart that pumped the foul poisons in the blood stream, perhaps for the last of times before sharing its contents with the deck, burned by the glazing plasma of the lightsaber.

The fires of war burned, as the two sides clashed in determination fuelled by uncaring masters, puppeteering both contesting bands into a suicidal dellirium of carnage.

Carnage.

Unmask.

Unhinged.

Unending.

A vow held true by the Dark Crusade.

A promise manifesting in the materialization of promises preyed upon by demons of doubt and reason, now broken free by the will of the Dark Side.

Blood splattered across the narrow deck, as Marauders pushed onward, only to be cleaved down by the she-warriors, baring the mark of the Seven-Pointed Star, pale of colour and hymns save that of bloodspill.

The Marauders all branded with the very same shape. Twisted and drenched crimson, planted on their septic skin by the fiery touch of the branding metal. A mockery of a symbol shrouded in ignorance and broken vows, the Dark Crusade relished it in the ensuing bloodletting, for through such alone practice, the minds were freed of the chains placed upon them since birth or creation.

The more the blood, the more the blight.

The more the Adepts strengthened, by Death summoned near of their most foul a deed.

The nerves denied any adherence to reason. The mind itself cast out of all but passion. In each moment passing, the body experiencing the stimulation derriving from many a times Death and Rebirth, collapsing the dam of sanity for a flood of blasphemous divinity in the form of Dark Side ecstasy...

Aside from what she felt through Hazdrabal's eyes. The physical and bodily sensations that Valia felt within the moment was unlike anything she had ever experienced, it was bordering on overwhelming. Each moment gnawing down at her sanity and Valia was too immersed within the tides of battle to realize, even if she did there was no stopping it regardless. She took in the bloodshed and suffering as if she was taking in fresh, morning air of the planetside, it felt euphoric, as if the very carnage around her helped fuel her mind and body.

Her mind reached out beyond the host body that she had inhabited, towards the charging she-warriors. Invisible dark tendrils of the force slithering towards them as Valia attempts to stiffle them in battle. For a moment, she allowed Hazdrabal to do as he wished, to swing his lightsaber how he pleased to best slay the tide of enemies. She focused on physically hindering those she-warriors, pushing them down, holding down their hands or legs, preventing them from fighting efficiently. Their minds were too fortified for Valia to psychologically influence them, but at the least, they could be physically hindered.
