Historical Information
The C.E.S. Sun Queen was specially made by Queen Catalina after a group of pirates bragged about having a two ships with ten 100 pounder cannons. This ships and the three other ships Moon Queen, Lancer, and Diplomat were made to fight a nonexistent threat. The Sun Queen finished production after the Moon Queen and is kept in service. The cannons on this ship fired a single volley while not in battle. They were fired at a land ship to see the destruction the massive cannons could do. Six of the hundred pound cannonballs had gone clean through the landship and landing in the ground.
