+ Mortal Champions. These knights are highly skilled warriors, eternally faithful to their masters. They will never break and flee from a confrontation regardless how dire the odds, unless they are ordered to do so.
+ Packing a punch. The Flame Breakers are heavily armed and armoured warriors, with their fiery weapons oftentimes able to set their enemy ablaze during fighting.
+ Line Breakers. In the face of such a determined advance, silent and fiery, many a foe break and flee, while those brave enough to stand in opposition find themselves carved through by the relentless advance of the Flame Breakers.
Weaknesses
- Sin of Pride. Due to their determination and pride, they will choose to die to the last than be defaced by retreating or fleeing against their masters' orders, leading many a time such units being lost in vain after encirclements or battle tides shifting.
- Befallen of Sloth. Due to their heavy gear, these knights are slow moving in the battlefield, making them susceptive to outflanking, should they advance unsupported.
- Burden of Mortality. Although the shock factor of these champions is horrifyingly effective, the more the battle drags on, the less effective they become. Their blades grow cold, while their muscles give in to exhaustion, significantly limiting their effectiveness.
Historical Information

An old tradition of the Night Court hailing from the times of the Witch Hunts of Castagonna, during which the Night Court's forces battled the Crusaders and the royalists, during the late years of the war. During these engagements, one of the crusader chapters found itself besieged by an army of cultists. The siege dragged on with the defenders being reduced to famine, eating scraps of fallen troops and the few horses remaining in the castle. To salvage the little they had left of their honour, the knights rallied all of their dwindling number that could still fight and prepared for a sally. In a night of wrath and zealotry, the knights stormed out at night, while the cultists had fallen asleep, having turned their blades fiery, praying for the God-Machine to smite their foes and allow the crusaders an escape.
In the chaos of the sudden attack, the cultists were in dissarray, and the crusaders, though receiving casualties, managed to pull from the field.
