Consolidation Thread: NA.
Description: The vehicle looks like a mix between a sith infiltrator ship and an X-wing. Its wings can swing upward forming an X shape with a bit of a circle shape from the curved pylons on each section. The front is a long, sharp triangle shape. The entire star fighter is painted dark gray with two red stripes down the center. When docked the wings fold so it can be stored side by side other fighters like it.

Strengths:
1. A lot of weapons.
2. Small turning radius.

Weaknesses
1. Adequate armor. Insufficient for taking sustained fire.
2. Low speed, weak against ship fire.
3. Primarily only a starfighter. Cannot enter atmosphere.

Historical Information
This star fighter was created to be the backbone of the galactic republics star fighter corp by admiral Cutchov who drew it on a napkin while drunk. The Admiral proposed the star fighter to evade a hefty sum for him being intoxicated while on duty. While it has seen no formal testing against enemies in simulated battles against itself dogfights ended with both dying or one coming out severely wounded. Informal testing is approved though.
These ships are the new fashion to the GRE due to the old Star fighters severely needing to be replaced.

Now thats some interesting fighter! Coming in with style!

Comments regarding above sub:

1. Not a real comment but more like a suggestion to make this sexier.
Strengths:
A. "Alot of weapons". NICE. And you got the goodies listed! Hell yeah!
B. Small turning radius. That means the maneuverability is HIGH! NICE! Some interceptor concept right here!
C. Wide view from the cockpit.... Am i right to believe that this can hint to a weakness "no advanced electronics"? The ships is based on manual systems, thus making targeting harder and reducing their accuracy.

Weaknesses:
A. Adequate Armour. Which means..? xD Requires more clarification how thats a bad thing.
B. Low speed harder to evade missiles. I would stretch it to "generally" it is hard to conduct evasive maneuvers. So, from beams to missiles and from turbolaser barrages to ramming, its gonna be an issue.
C. Also, you need as many strengths as weaknesses. So gonna need one more weakness :P

Historical Info:
Once again, here too, how did the need arise for this design? Was it an original idea? Was it a blending of existing designs like imp and rep fighters? Or was it a development to a previous fighter?
If no active testing has gone down, how common are these fighters to the GRE? are they the new fashion or are they still contained due to the fact nobody knows if they are actually pulling their weight?
