Crown Clans
Amid the festering multitude of Eshkin Clans, a select few rise high above the endless swarm, ancient, feared, and unrivalled. These are the Crown Clans: paragons of Eshkin cunning and dominance, whose names are whispered with awe and dread in every tunnel and warren. Through generations of blood-soaked conquest, heretical innovation, and merciless manipulation, the Crown Clans have carved out unassailable dominions. Their influence is total, in war, in politics, in ideology. Each Crown Clan stands as a living embodiment of a grand dogma: be it death, shadow, pestilence, flame, or doomstone-born invention. Such is their authority that the leader of a Crown Clan is granted an immediate seat upon the Council of Thirteen, the supreme ruling body of the Eshkin Hegemony. There, they speak with the weight of countless lesser clans behind them, shaping policy, waging shadow wars, and offering false alliance while plotting inevitable betrayal. To defy a Crown Clan is heresy. To serve one is to live beneath their boot, but it also comes with protection, patronage and inevitable exploitation. All other clans orbit them, willingly or otherwise, as pawns, vassals, or would-be usurpers in an endless war of rats.

War Clans
Warlords who amass a following and power, through cunning, strength, or sheer savagery, may one day fracture from their parent clan and form their own dominion: a War Clan. These splinter-clans often trace their lineage back to a Crown Clan, retaining ancient oaths and half-buried loyalties, but they are no longer bound by another's will. Driven by ambition and martial pride, War Clans pursue their own agendas, whether conquest, innovation, or ascension within the Eshkin hierarchy. Each bears its leader’s mark, a reflection of the warlord’s victories and scars. Their strength lies in the boundless hunger for power.Undus

Thrall Clans
In the ever-churning cesspool of Eshkin politics, not all clans thrive. Some fall, collapsing under failed schemes, lost battles, or the betrayal of allies. These are the Thrall Clans: scavengers of the Eshkin Hegemony, broken but not erased. Forced into servitude by their betters, Thrall Clans toil in the deepest mines, tend volatile doom engines, or march as expendable meat in endless wars. Yet to mistake them for harmless is to invite failure. Resentful, cunning, and steeped in desperation, Thrall Clans are the most treacherous of all, gnawing, scheming, ever-watching for a moment to betray, to strike, to rise. For even at the lowest rung, the hunger never dies.Cibus
