Unit Description: Defined by their green uniforms and cylindrical hats, the Greencoat Detachments are army formations of Elf troops that have abandoned the arcane ways in favour of technology, whether that came to be due to a catastrophe, a cultural shift, or a decision forced by an oppressor.

Strengths
+ Elf Accuracy. The Greencoats, although devoid of their ancient ways, remain excellent sharpshooters.
+ Scout Troops. Though they may deploy as line corps, the Greencoats tend to employ guerilla tactics and operate in small sections scattering across larger territories.
+ Cammuflage Experts. The Elfs, although having distanced themselves from nature, remain masters in cammuflage and ambush setting, usually basing their tactics on these aspects

Weaknesses
- Scarce Numbers. The Greencoats are never many in number, leading to low durability against casualties.
- Armourless. The absence of armour in these troops shows when they are called to face off an enemy charge, or soak ranged attacks, both in which they suffer greatly if they are not in cover.
- Pulp Muscles. The Elfkin was never renown for their physical strength. Though capable sharpshooters, when it comes to melee, these troops are facing tremendous disadvantage.

Historical Information
The Elfkin across Terra Firma is represented in the minds of most as a deeply arcane breed of sorcerers, mages and druids. Alas, this is not always the case, with many cultures across the world falling from grace, resulting to technology to face off the odds of history. Such are the cases of the Greencoats, the renown units of Elf troops holding muskets and setting up traps across any terrain to disorient the enemy, still adding their very own aspect in the modern war.
