The Iron Cult, since its establishment, spent long time and resources in renovating and experimenting with various revolutionary doctrines of war, moving away on some occasions from the typical Erovian traditions. Eventually, the Cult's armed forces became a formidable and highly diverse scheme of various Regiments with different equipment, internal structure and methods of discipline. The entirety of the Cult's armies would eventually be named, so typical of their ways, Iron Path.
In times of larger conflicts, Regiments are combined into larger armies commanded by the Iron Cult's war leaders. When there is no need for such armies, then the regiments are either disbanded, reduced in number, or redeployed, under their own command.
The Jager
Recruited from the Ostronnian heights, the Jager are specialist mountaineer troops, adapt in fighting under extreme conditions and deep winter, or forest environments. Most of the troops within the Jager Regiments are hunters or slayers by trade, finding employment in the Jager detachments sent to the unforgiving frontiers around the world.
The Jager Regiments are the smallest in size compared to any other Iron Path Regiment, though they are usually deployed against creatures, or as specialist units, not as full armies, supporting the efforts of other regiments against beasts or monstrous creatures.
Wesallan Fusiliers
The Fusiliers are highly disciplined and arguably the most numerous of the Iron Path's regiments. Although allegedly tied to Wesalla province, the Fusiliers are drafting troops from any part of the world, as they are always in need for additional bodies to fill the lines. With brutal and oftentimes lethal trainning, the Fusiliers have the capacity of recruiting from law-abiding citizens of the Iron Cult, to any criminal, brigand, fugitive, or even prisoner of war, given the contract is signed and the prospect survives the trainning. Officer corps and high command consists of Wesallan wealthy individuals, or glorified veterans, leading their troops with an iron fist through the various battlefields the Iron Cult dispatches them.
The Fusiliers are almost exclusively infantry and numerous field guns, with some regiments employing a limited number of cavalry. Their light gear and absence of any armour allows them high maneuverability, while their musket-based tactics makes them a force that can take up a variety of tasks and perform in almost any environment.
Provountese Line Corps
Initially household troops for their noble overlords, the Royal Guard were renown regiments of well-equipped and well-trainned troops preserved by the nobility to protect their domains from foreign invaders, and peasant rebellions. When the Iron Cult spread to the province, several nobles joined their cause, pledging their Royal Guards to the Rebellion, against the local rulers. After a whole year of conflict, the Royal Guard remaining veterans from both royalists and Cultists had earned the Iron Cult's respect. When the province was modernized by the Cult's new rulers, the Royal Guard was reformed into the Provountese Line Corps, who served as elite, well-disciplined and highly valued troops for the Cult's campaigns. Preserving their old traditions, the Line Corps high ranking officers tend to travel in luxurious wagons, while the heraldry and clothing of the troops reflects their noble past.
The Line Corps are mainly a defensive element, with low mobility and astounding firepower and accuracy. Usually, a Line Corps Regiment consists of mainly infantry, with cavalry acting as the elite of their ranks. Mobile artillery is favoured, as the Line Corps have a liking to medium-range firearms, while the troops are oftentimes dressed with expensive armours to allow them to soak enemy charges, or fire.
The Iron Guard
The most common regiments in the Iron Path are the Iron Guard Regiments. Consisting of conscripted as well as professional troops, the Iron Guard is the bulwark of the Iron Cult's forces, found in almost any battlefield. The Guard employs typical gambeson and iron or chainmail gear, with troops being specialized in various weapons such as sword and shield, halberds, firearms, artillery and others. The Guard, though usually basing their tactics in over-the-top artillery bombardments and then capitalizing on their usual numerical superiority, also makes use of cavalry detachments which serve as recon, trackers, and patrol troops, while the infantry employs various war machines such as wagons and siege towers, depending on their assigned task. The Iron Guard, due to their equipment and habbits, make ideal siege troops, while they are the answer of the Iron Cult's warfare innovation, to the chivalric traditions of the West and the cavalry focus of the South.

~~The Regiments~~
The Iron Path is divided in multiple regiments, each of which is an independent army force of varying numbers, depending on their assigned duties. The majority of the Iron Path regiments are heavily dependent on supply lines and troop replenishment. Employing various innovations, war engines, artillery, and sheer revolutionary tactics, the Regiments are independent army groups capable of being deployed at any battlefield the Iron Cult requires reinforcements. In times of larger conflicts, Regiments are combined into larger armies commanded by the Iron Cult's war leaders. When there is no need for such armies, then the regiments are either disbanded, reduced in number, or redeployed, under their own command.
