It was a sunny day along the river as the sky stayed a beautiful blue. At one of the docks a beautiful ironside ship of the confederate navy sat docked and decked out with tables and chairs. The ship's sailors had fastened the tables and chairs to the deck of the ship temporarily. Ice tea and treats were brought onboard by the one waitress Catrina had brought along. The reason for it was soon clear as Catrina Rose came down the steps in a flashy red dress. Catrina Rose, a member of the Rose Royal Family, had rented an ironside for a one day adventure. Catrina’s family had friends in the country's naval hierarchy.
Catrina was a young woman in her mid twenties and smiled as she stepped up onto the deck of the ironside, her flashy red sundress waving around in the wind. With a kick of a chair and a push on a table she found that everything was suitable. She smiled excitedly as she waited for the arrival of her best friends. She was going to have a spot of fun for the day with her best friends.
Trina Tulip arrived at the deck wearing a large white sun hat and white floral pattern sundress to protect her pasty white skin. Trina Tulip, a part of the Tulip Royal family, came down the steps and up onto the docks with a big smile on her face. She stretched out her arms and wrapped them around Catrina. Catrina laughed as she hugged her friend back.
“It’s so good to see you again. Look at you as well! You are so skinny you really should eat more. One of these days you should come visit me at my house. We have a chef who makes the best meat cakes. Last night he made bacon wrapped fish cakes and it was absolutely tasty.” Trina spoke as she pinched Catrina’s cheeks. Catrina laughed and gently pushed Trina’s hands away.
“Come on dear. I’m not that skinny. I’m built like a rectangle. Though those meat cakes sound delicious. I may have to see about borrowing him for a time.” Catrina replies as she pats her best friend on her shoulder. She laughed as they noticed Sariah’s wagon park next to theirs. Sariah stepped out with her fancy bright blue sundress lightly fluttering around in the wind.
“Did you hear about the treasure chest one of Sariah’s servants has? I am surprised that her servant can even move with the pair so big.” Trina whispered in Catrina’s ear.
“She needs all the help she can get though. I doubt Sariah has heard of wearing makeup. She looks average as she is right now.” Cartrina replies as Sariah walked down to them, her curvy servant following behind her. Sariah stepped up onto the ship and was embraced in a hug by Trina.
“I’m glad you could make it. We’re going to have so much. We’re still waiting for three other people to arrive so we might have to wait a bit longer.” Catrina spoke as she embraced Sariah.
“That’s fine. I’m in no rush. I even brought some of my own treats for the trip.” Sariah said as she grabbed the metal tin of Dabbi jelly filled Pastries. Catrina had the cook set them next to the others.
