Name: BP1 Hunter class. (Heavy Bomber.)
Credits: https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Bomber, https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/TIE/sa_tactical_bomber,
Consolidation Thread: NA.
Description: This ship draws inspiration from the movie Hells Bombers, current school bus designs, and some van like civilian craft. In the movie Hells Bombers it featured four y-shaped bombers. Such vehicles and how they flew were fictional at the time the movie was produced. It has two large Gauser ion engines in the main body connected to two long G1 thruster units with tie-fighter styled fins mounted on the sides. It’s painted a dark gray with two red stripes going down the center.

CLASSIFICATION

    • Vessel: Starfighter.
      • Dimensions: Length: Fifty feet. Width: 27 feet. Height: 8 feet.
      • Crew: 2.

ATTRIBUTES
  • Durability: average.
  • Speed: Average.
  • Defensive Capabilities: average.
    • Gear: shield generators, T1 scrambler.

  • Scarcity: Common.
    • Manufacturer: Galactic Republic manufacturing group 5.
  • Cargo Capacity: NA.
    • NA.
Strengths:
1. Interchangeable payloads.
2. Safety designed. Very rarely to explode or catch fire. Designed to keep pilot alive.

Weaknesses:
1. no point defense systems.
2. Enemy flak, point defense auto-turrets, AA.

Historical Information:
This vehicle was created as a ship to serve in the Holy Galactic Republic Empire’s fleet. The designer was Agustus Mark, a popular civilian car designer. The original design is rumored to have been drawn a napkin though there is no actual proof of it. Early, crude test pilots joked about it being a failed attempt school bus due to its poor turning speed and original designed pilots cockpit which was not ergonomic. Mark reworked the design repeatedly till the pilots were happy with the prototype. It is designed to fly in swarms and every part in it can be made from modern vehicles common in the Galactic Republic Empire. Mark Augustus the first one made the Maria after his wife and used a connection to get the prototypes to fly over him when he divorced his wife two weeks later. It wasn’t a big favor as all fighters are given test flights. The favor was a slight rearrangement of routes which was explained by the test flight planner as a mistake. The test flight planner was reprimanded for it and suspended.

"It" What!?

IT WHAT!??!?!?!

WHAT DID IT "IT"!?!?!?!?!??!?!?!!??!?!?!?

*uncontrollable panic spiral*

2. Strengths/Weaknesses

Strengths:
1. Able to flatten entire cities. doomsday weapon?! I feel this hints to nuclear-level payload, or some extreme property not mentioned. In either case, It is not a strength a bomber may have, especially not, considering it is Very High, and there is also the Extreme Offensive spot xD Id take that bit out entirely.
2. Can penetrate enemy hulls. I would be more comfortable with "Armour-Piercing/Incendiary" loadout instead of "auto penetration".
3. Heavy bombs. I believe the above remark would cover that fully.

Weaknesses:
1. Weak against enemy fighters. NICE! I like this one, very to the point and simple.
2. Enemy cannon barrage. I have a feeling you mean AA artillery like flak. If it isnt artillery but point-defense autoturrets, turbolaser or guided torpedoes, would it still count? If so, I believe a more generic term would be suitable.

3. Historical Info

"This vehicle was created as a ship to serve in the Galactic Republic’s imperial fleet. It’s built to decimate an enemy fleet into oblivion. It’s systems are a closely guarded secret as the they largely have been tested in actual combat situations."
- If its built to decimate fleets, does it mean it is a super-ship? Bombers are meant to deliver painfully heavy load to enemy ships, positions or so, but they are in no way capable of enging, much less killing off, a full element.
- I would like to suggest following things to be addressed:
a. When was this type of bomber invented? Do we know by who? What was the need for such a thing to come up? Is it being used as a solo unit, or are they swarming like WWII B-17 bomber locust, like Galactic Empire's bomber raids usually were like?
b. You mention it has been tested in actual combat. What kind of combat? Do we know any of its records? Any special events?

Edited this too.

Nice. Some additional stuff i would like to address.

1. Y Bombers and Tie fighters were first conceived as designs 3.5k after our setting. Therefore, to say "they were based on this" is either breaking the lore, or hints to time travel both of which are a no no. The idea behind Description spot is to provide physical and perhaps technical insight to the sub. Any sub based on "this is like this" does not classify as sufficient sub. Please ammend accordingly.

2. Attributes: I count 15 points from 12 available for non conso subs :P

3.
1. Interchangeable payloads.
2. Armor piercing payloads.
This feels like Strength 1 is non specific (whats interchangeable payloads?) and Strength 2. is just part of 1 but specific?

4.
1. Weak against enemy fighters.
2. Enemy flak, point defense auto-turrets
Why weak against enemy fighters? Is it because its hard to maneuver? Is it because of lack of shields etc?
Enemy flak, point def autos etc feel like a weakness every flying starship would have?

5. ok so, several stuff to address in Historical Info.

a. Is there no professionalism in HGRE? xD Everyone draws on napkinssss!! But.... I notice there is zero real info regarding the whats the hows and the whens of the design? You mention pilots messing of it being failure, yet there is no indication this design even has flaws?
b. How is it a closely guarded secret while it is basically a pattent of scratchbuild from civilian stuff?
c. you mention past operation experience yet there is no real mention on it.

I would like to see more technicality, especially given it is outright based on canon lore (basically rebranding of GCW bombers) and some actualy story regarding its creation and its operations that you mention, for creativity sake.

Hopefully that fixes it.

@ImperialEevee
I mean a science fiction movie that features futuristic stuff that isn’t present in Star Wars.
Like how we have Star Trek but can’t go to space.
Yup. You should keep in mind that throughout the sub, you preserve a certain "IC-esque" attitude. So, the same way you cannot write "So, Palpatine's stormtroopers are basically germans in white" (like lucas explained in an interview), you cant use IRL references while dealing with subs, as it breaks immersion.

Rule of thumb:
- No IRL mentions
- Thorough interest in lore
- Address lore made by you while making the sub, or add subs that are already approved (if not yours, they will require consent from the OP). Not just mentioning "The war back then".
