Samhradhán O'Scand.png
Full Name: Samhradhán O'Scand
Name: Samhradhán
Surname: O'Scand
Age: Born in 892 (30)
Nicknames: Sam
Sex: Male
Appearance: Standing at 1,84m in height, Samhradhán is a man who has lived by the blade regardless of his noble lineage, with his training and scars of past struggles visible marks on his body.
Magic Affinity: None.

Strengths: Capable fighter, cavalier, tactical thinker

Weaknesses: Stubborn, disrespectful to those he views beneath him, easily agitated

Son to Lothal O'Scand, the "Man Who Started the War", Samhradhán had always been a fiery character. Although loyal to his house, he would oftentimes come to blows with the O'Scand leader, Lord Edrik, who favoured diplomacy and gradual expansion through influence, contrary to Lothal's force of arms policy.
Samhradhán himself was raised in Lothal's tower, in Kirkshire, and grew up to be a skilled swordsman and mannered noble. In Kirkshire's hall there was little else one could endeavour, given the cruel and strict rules enforced by Lord Lothal, who believed leniency could spoil a child. Instead, through discipline and continuous pressure, while nurturing one's loyalty, resulted in faceless rage the child would align against the House's enemies, yielding a loyal and determined champion. Of course, the same could not be said for his firstborn son, Lothal the Youngest, who met his end by an Ulfbitenn blade, during the Battle of The Overlords, that became the tidebreaker of the O'Scand dominion in Northern Eirelunn.

Samhradhán survived the battle, yet was scarred from it; a gloom reminder of his House's darkest moment. Although his father never forgave his failure of saving his brother, Lothal the Younger, Samhradhán claimed he was far from him during the battle to be able to. The following turmoil and political contest following the battle, Samhradhán would see little of, as he recovered from his wounds. Eventually, Edrik convinced the Ulfbitenn not to enact any further retaliation against his House, instead, consented to a marital union in which an Ulfbitenn bride would marry in with Edrik's oldest son, Malaisse O'Scand. This concession was faced with a loud outcry by Samhradhán, who viewed this act as a betrayal to his House.
With Lord Lothal remaining in captivity by the Ulfbitenn, Samhradhán was eventually forced to obey Edrik's orders, and do not act on his words against the marriage.
Whether that would remain true, was yet to be seen....

Samhradhán's stance on magic resembles that of any of the New Nobility; Resentful against those who wield it, being of the belief that Magic should be reserved by those who truly are worthy of it, the Druids. An opinion which isn't rooted in honesty as much as fear of the caste which bears religious influence and strength in Eirelunn.
His father, Lothal "the Vein" O'Scand, the man who's aggressive policies and provocations ignited a war between the O'Scand and their vassals and the Ulfbitenn, some two years ago.
