Description: Once known as the glorious Golden City of Konstantis, the city is now a grotesque ruin known as Neuhaven. The Golden City of Konstantis was an awe-inspiring metropolis built on a peninsula, fortified by immense triple-layered walls and surrounded on three sides by the sea. Its strategic location at the junction of two continents makes it the most coveted city in the known world. With towering domes, golden-roofed churches, once bustling markets, and grand palaces, Konstantis represented the pinnacle of imperial power and culture. The city’s most iconic feature is the Great Golden Dome, a massive structure that reflects sunlight across the sea, visible to travellers from miles away. Now the city's streets are a maze of crumbling buildings and debris, overrun by swarms of Eshkin. The grand avenues are choked with refuse, plague pits, and barricades made from twisted wreckage and bodies. The former opulence of the city is barely recognizable beneath layers of grime, filth, and rampant vegetation that has been twisted by rat men's influence into monstrous forms. The harbour area, once bustling with trade and ships, is now a derelict graveyard of wrecked vessels and polluted waters. The docks are strewn with debris, and the sea has become a murky, fetid swamp teeming with mutated sea life and Eshkin traps. The proud walls of Konstantis are festooned with crude Eshkin war banners, and sections of the walls have been rebuilt into defensive structures that house the various weaponry of the Eshkins making. Below the surface, Neuhaven has expanded into a labyrinth of subterranean tunnels and chambers. These dark, claustrophobic passages are filled with the sounds of skittering rats, the clatter of Eshkin machinery, and the occasional eerie glow of poisonous veins. The Eshkin have turned these tunnels into a sprawling network of workshops, breeding pits, and command centres, where their twisted plans are forged and their armies prepared. Neuhaven is now a festering wound in the world, a breeding ground for madness, disease, and the Eshkin's insidious plots. The city is both a symbol of the rat men's dark triumph and a stark reminder of the fall of one of the greatest cities of the old world.

STRENGTHS

Endless Skaven Numbers:
Eshkin breed rapidly and uncontrollably. The population grows so fast that there is an endless supply of Eshkin warriors, workers, and expendables

Hidden Tunnels: The vast network of underground tunnels gives the Eshkin unparalleled mobility and defence, allowing them to attack from unexpected angles

Disease: The city is infested with plague and poison, which weakens anyone attempting to lay siege to the city. Prolonged occupation by the Eshkin may make the city uninhabitable for any other race.

WEAKNESSES

Chaos and Disorganization:
Eshkin society is rife with infighting, corruption, and treachery, making their leadership unstable and prone to collapse.

Overextended Supply Lines: While Eshkin breed quickly, their food and resource demands are immense. If their tunnels or supply routes were cut off, the city would quickly fall into chaos as Eshkin fight over dwindling resources.

Environmental Instability: The Eshkin's lack of proper maintenance, has made the city highly unstable. Buildings collapse unexpectedly, tunnels cave in, and entire sections of the city are prone to deadly explosions.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION
The city of Konstantis was once the shining capital of a vast empire, its golden domes and towering walls protecting the heart of the known world. However, in a time of great upheaval, the Eshkin launched a devastating assault from beneath, using their dark magic and twisted technology to unleash a tide of death and decay. Despite the city’s formidable defences, the vermin overwhelmed Konstantis in a matter of days thanks to their overwhelming numbers and lack of reinforcements from allied nations. The city's ports were filled with disgusting Wreckingwrecks, and the food storages were plundered. The surviving citizens fled or were slaughtered, their bodies used to fuel the Eshkin's war machines. In the aftermath, the ratmen began corrupting the once-great city, warping its structures and digging deep into the earth to expand their underground empire. Neuhaven is now a stronghold of chaos and corruption, a symbol of the rat men's growing power in the world. The once-proud city has become a nightmarish landscape of filth, disease, and war, where the very air is thick with the stench of rot and despair.
