Strengths
+ Double-Edged. The Ríthetite can cut as good from both edges, making a double trouble to whoever is wielded against.
+ Precious Jewel. The Ríthetite is forged by the livery collars of Eirish nobles that had been defeated during the Ulfbitenn expansion Southwards.
Weaknesses
- More a symbol than an asset. Although masterfully forged, this weapon has no special traits save for its symbolism.
- Hate carrier. Due to the materials used to forge it, the Ríthetite, and by extension her wielder, carries the hatred of the peoples who fell under the Ulfbitenn. Many among the Goidel tribes view this weapon as a symbol of oppression.
Historical Information
The Ríthetite was forged during the end of the Eirish Unification Wars, by order of @Harrul Ulfbitenn after the destruction of numerous rebel and independent houses that stood against the rapid Ulfbitenn expansion. After years of struggle, in an effort to establish his dominion over the defeated peoples, Harrul ordered the livery collars of all fallen nobles who had not surrendered to the Ulfbitenn to be melted down and dress a blade forged by their weapons.
The result was the Ríthetite. A masterfully crafted item that stands as a symbol of Eirish craftsmanship, molded in the traditional Eirish fashion. Its hilt has visible influences from the Nordur, while the armguard has an oval shape, roughly resembling the ancient Imperial style of weaponry. With these traits, the Ríthetite was meant to bind the peoples of Eirelunn in the same way the Ulfbitenn aspire to unite them: In fire and anvil.
