The Red Court is the beating heart of the Realm. Located in the Capital of Dunwyn, the Red Court is the main site in which political discussions, gatherings and councils are held, being the hall of the King himself.
The Noble Houses
The lands of Eirelunn had always been under the rule of the many Noble Houses. Powerful families who hold sway over manors, cities or entire territories, the Noble Houses are recognized entities within the Red Court of Dunwyn. With many having been at odds or full fledged enemies in the past, while others preserve tribal or mystic traditions, the Noble Houses are a network of shifting alliances, old grudges and continuous plotting over influence and prestige in the Red Court, coexisting in a sensitive balance, not foreign to occasional disputes that can spark feudal conflicts within the realm...
Any member of the Kingdom of Eirelunn can establish their very own Noble House given they have a character, or characters, that can claim, or are written as being part of the nobility.
Each noble house gains control of settlements (POIs). The more territory a Noble House controls, the more troops they can muster, and the more influence they hold within the Court. If a Character, elevated or originated into nobility, gains control of a settlement (Which can be written by the writer as a POI settlement, if they wish, unless they are rewarded an already existing settlement) then the Feudalism rules apply.
