Biography:
Mars was born as the little brother of Minerva, in a small church going farmer’s family. Minerva left the family when Mars was still relatively young, and married into nobility. Mars, on the other hand, would be raised as his father’s boy, a farmer. Mars’s childhood was abundant with events. Mars grew up on a side of town that was abundant with bullying and fights. From a young age, Mars found himself in the middle of fighting and bullying, and he was often forced in the middle of these fights, not knowing what to do, not knowing how one defended himself. Mars took a sound beating by the bullies of the town. He didn’t like it very much, however, and vowed to take revenge. Mars wouldn’t simply bow down to bullies! </p>
Bullies and fist fights, however, was not an era that would last long. Mars finally figured out how to fight, and with the help of an axe, he fought back. He took down a couple bullies in the alleyway at first, and then began wielding his axe everywhere. Soon enough it was difficult to just beat Mars. Mars was the fighter, born to beat the bullies, and the evil of the town. </p>
Somewhere along the way, Mars figured out he was not meant to become a farmer, like his parents. Seeing some potential in Mars, his parents told him that one day he would have to enroll in the Black Company. He would have to take the help of his sister Minerva, who had a connection with nobility, and this in turn would make it easy to enroll in the officer Black Company. Mars was funny at first, preferring to work as a farmer, and taking the easy life out. However, his parents insisted. With the Black Company came the gold ticket to a dream future, where they could some day be rich, and own land. There was certainly no benefit to staying as a farmer, living a life of poverty. It would be a failure for Mars, who had great fighting talent, and certainly be an embarrassment to his sister Minerva, who had married into a noble household. Mars finally changed his view, and agreed.</p>
Mars, happy that he could have a bright career ahead of him, spent many of his pre-Black Company days training with an axe, and enjoying himself. He would go meet his sister, who now had kids in their teens. Mars dreamt of a rich future for himself. He would secure a castle, some knights, a wife, and a noble title himself. Mars had much work to do, and he certainly would need a little help from his sister to get there. However, there was hope. So long as he spent his nights training with an axe, there was plenty of hope. He had to put in work for his family, who did not want to live in poverty.
After turning 18, Mars enrolled in the Black Company. Mars would fantasize about fighting bandits, making friends, and growing stronger. The Black Company would be his ticket to a good life.
