Getting Started is a place for new members to set up for their adventures that will follow! To help navigation and functionality, below are some tips and guidelines on how to use the forums within the Getting Started category.

  • Character Creation: This is the page in which members can write their Character profiles, to introduce them to the setting. When writing a character, always bare in mind that the profile must adhere to the Character Creation Rules.
    • Prefixes in Character Creation: When posting a character, the ability to choose "Thread Prefixes" is visible and edible by the writer. That is to allow for better handling of one's character sheets. Work in Progress character profiles are the ones who are not yet completely set up, or require further editing to be presentable. When the sheet has reached a point the writer is happy with, or is finalized, then the Character Prefix can be chosen, to indicate that this sheet is at a completed state. Of course, you can always go back and edit, continuing the story as your character participates in Threads, or simply changing something you'd like!
  • At the Starport: The Starport is an area where new members can pretty much walk in and say "hi" to the folk of the site! Don't be shy! Make yourself known and get a feeling of the place. In a way, the Starport can also be used as a "Character Creation" for the Writer. Tell us about you! Have you participated in such an endeavour before? Do you have any expectations or reservations?
  • Looking for Group: The classic LFG forum is for old and new members alike to reach out and find a partner or partners to a Roleplaying idea they have, or to join a new plot. There are three Prefixes who are used in this forum to help distinguishing the nature of each post.
    • Private: These posts refer to one-on-one Roleplay inquiries.
    • Group: These posts refer to Threads that are meant to have several writers participate.
    • Open: These could be inquiries of people who either are open to both private or group interactions.
