Strengths
- Long Range Missile Troops. The Archers can engage enemy units from long distances with significant accuracy.
- Hunter's Mark. These troops can provide accurate fire as well as supressive fire to delay enemy advances.
- Scouts. Being adapt in tracking and scouting, these troops can serve as forerunners and foragers.

Weaknesses
- Vulnerable in melee. The archers are trainned ranged troops, but have little to no capacity to hold in a melee engagement.
- Open Order. Due to their usual loose formations, in case of a successful enemy charge, they will be routed almost immediatelly without friendly support.
- Fear of cavalry. If enemy cavalry draws near the archers, they will almost certainly give up their positions and run away, to avoid being cleaved by the mounted troops.

Historical Information
Archers are troops that provide a valuable and painfully effective at times asset in the battlefield: Projectiles.
Whether they are deployed atop fortified positions, or in the battlefield, the archers serve in various roles, either providing continuous supressive fire against the enemy, which could at times delay or even break enemy vanguards, or skirmish ahead of the main battle lines, softening up the enemy front before the battle is joined.
