At the age of 16 she was crowned champion of the island at the sword fighting tournament and she was gifted two swords that she never used during combat but she was honored to wear behind her waist at formal conventions and at some first dates to test the resolve of potential partners but none would be able to stand up to her intimidating figure once they saw the two katanas in their casings. When she joined the academy her fame proceeded her and she was given the nickname "Samurai". Her tuition went smoothly and she was given command of a destroyer once she graduated. It is unknown but someone painted on the side of the bridge two Katana swords but instead of diciplinary action this "grafiti" became the pride of the ship.
