The Confederate

The Confederate officially begun by the rise of Sal Gaul who united several different tribes and groups of people into one single governmental body. Under the banner of The Confederate are several different species who coexist and like together. From Tortui (Tort-wi) to the Lacquia (Lack-quee-a) every one has a voice in the constitutional monarchy of the Confederation. The leader of this government is referred to as a Primarch and runs the country while noble families are treated more like celebrities. The people themselves vote for a governmental representative most of the time but can vote for a third party member. There are currently twenty noble families in total. The country is built alongside the river and ocean with harbors built to house massive first rate ships to the glorious Ironside ships. Due to the size of country a mandatory five year service is enforced of its citizens though this is separated into two parts known as “Ativisma” and “Paterismo”, active and passive respectively. Active soldiers or sailors are paid more than passive ones but are required to be on standing duty. Passive soldiers or sailors are paid less but only have to show up to training exercises on the weekends and are allowed to maintain another job. Due to this every citizen also owns and carries a flintlock rifle with bayonet. The countries navy often travels from port to port training or staying active.
